I love open source software and care about digital privacy. After being frustrated by the usability and privacy nightmare that was the 2014 release of Windows 10, I switched to using Linux and discovered a whole new way of doing things. It turns out you can have customization, simplicity and privacy all without having to pay a dime.

While I ultimately switched to a MacBook to get better hardware plus a more polished and resourceful software experience, I very much enjoyed using all sorts of Linux distros for over six years.
